If you are interested in fishing for the hardest freshwater fish to catch, you do not need to go north. Missouri has one of the best lakes for musky fishing. Lake Pomme de Terre has been stocked since 1967 and in the last 6 years some 30,000 12 inch fish have been stocked. If you are planning a trip, May and June are the best trolling months and Sept and Oct are the best for casting. I provide all equipment, all you need is a camera, a rain suit, and a desire to keep a line in the water.
